Hi all. After loads of experimentation with my jaguar since putting hotter pickups in, I've settled on 500k all around. That means I've got a very high quality pair of controls spare - the first is a 1Meg linear volume control (I prefer linear to audio for vol - much more spread out range). The second is sort of like Fenders TBX control that is a 250k pot in the first half and 1Meg for the second half so you get the brightness of an offset if you want it, but can default to a more standard tone. It's wired up with a resistor for a smooth transition between the two and had an orange drop .022 cap soldered in. I've left the link between lug 2 & 3 for a standard jag install but easily removed for any guitar. Would cost £15ish plus shipping new but I'll do the pair delivered for £10.

Added to the block, a Rothwell Hot Little Knob I bought ages ago when I had a strat. Basically gives you lots of series/parallel options, great idea and I can personally vouch for the cool Little Knob. Never installed, as new. £20 ppg delivered. Pic incoming.
