Guitar Safari? Recommendations Please...

Right, I've got the day off tomorrow, was going to check out a guitar in London but that's fallen through.

So i'm after a Vintage or CS Telecaster, I've got a giro burning a hole in my shell suit, don't really want to give my trade to the box shifters, looking for smaller, more personal shops within about 2 hours drive of Birmingham.

Recommendations please :-)

Have a look at the blonde at Greenwood in Lpool.

Also a lovely 68 at Frets in Newcastle
