My Strat with JB (full size), Fast Track 1 and Chopper...??

wired JB/FS1/Chopper....

Had my local techy guy put the 2 Dimarzios in a couple of months ago (the JBs been in for years already) and something odd always bugged me....the FS1 in the middle sounds like the neck position and the Chopper sounds more like it was in the middle - harsher and more trebly/biting sound. The FS seems plumier and louder...if I play say the SCOM intro on the middle FS1 it sounds better than the chopper in the neck ie more like that neck bucker sound. I asked my techy if he'd wired 'em in wrong but he says definitely not so I says I'll have a look under the pickguard neck time I change the strings over. So I just did that convinced I'd find the middle and neck pups wired in the wrong way around but alas no! The Chopper is supposed to be a bit hotter than the Fast Track 1 so why on earth is mine louderer than the Chopper. And the middle FS is screwed down lower than the neck pup and still !! Are my PUPs broke or summit ?

I have an FS1 in the bridge and middle position of my strat and the middle position also sounds dark and thick like a neck pickup. The same pickup at the neck didn't sound so good though.
