  • I did earlier today send the guys at Axesrus a FYI email so they would check this thread.... they are very happy with the compliments, and told me to pass on their thanks and appreciation for the nice crowd here at the forum

Only just seen this thread but will add my two penn'orth. Excellent company to deal with. Had loads of parts, spares and even a couple of pickups from them over the years and never had a problem.

  • +1 from me too --- I just received lots of hardware for my GSP partscaster, as well as a solid looking wired control plate!

I've used Axesrus for years and always had great service. I'm giving some of their pickups a go soon and got really a few long emails with great advice from Craig on which model to go for based on what sound I said I was going for. Just hoping the pickups are as good as their customer service!

  • LOL. Just tried to access their site from my work computer and got a message saying I wasn't allowed to. Falls in to the "weapons/bombs" category of naughty websites apparently.

Only used them a couple of times, but all was good. Helpful service, products were good.

Used them lots of times, they had everything I wanted when I built a Partscaster and an Esquire. Great company, highly recommended.

If anyone was considering their pickups I say go for it! I got a Purist bridge and Late 50s hum size p90 neck of my SG and I'm really pleased with the sound. I've tried loads of pickups including Bare Knuckle and Oil City (admittedly only one of the latter, a Wapping wharf) and these are just as good and the best fit for the guitar so far. The neck is perhaps not as fat as a Bare Knuckle MQ but sounds good regardless - perhaps I should have got an A4 magnet to match the bridge pickup. The Purist is really good. I don't think I'll be going back to the 498t which up til now was my favourite in this guitar. The Purist has a bit more low end and no nasal/shrill mids and high end I guess thanks to the A4 mag. Plus a pair cost less than one BKP. They're like Bare Knuckle mules but better (for me).
