What a bell end...

Anyway is around £1500-1700 the going rate for a used one? I'd love one one day - there's a nice black one in the classifieds at the moment.

    R. Lower than a snakes belly. No problem with his business of buying cheap and selling high.

But he knows that isn't a new unplayed guitar...

  • guitar dept in another over priced shocker...

he has been doing it for years and under various usernames
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

A while back there was a guy selling a Country Classic II on eBay, I made enquiries about it and had almost agreed on a deal when it sold.

Then almost immediately the guitar appeared back on eBay being sold by "Guitar Dept" for considerably more than originally advertised.

In fact it's still one of two he's got for sale about 8 months down the line.

I can't imagine he'll sell many at his over inflated prices...

If that appears on his facebook page, I'd very tempted to leave a comment...

I'm glad he's been revealed as a fraud, as I'd been looking at a couple of Rickenbackers he had for sale recently (I see a Rick in my medium-term future).

I just can't believe that anyone would bring ebay's flawless reputation for scrupulous honesty and integrity into disrepute in such a despicably blatant way.

This is the same guy who tried to stiff me over a guitar I was selling on eBay.  He negotiated a best offer on eBay for cash on collection terms then tried to pay with PayPal and asked me to UPS it to him.  The guy is a complete tool!

He wasn't too impressed when I cancelled the sale and refunded him, he tried telling me I was obliged to accept PayPal!!

Sorry fella, if you ain't turning up in person with a wad of notes as agreed you ain't getting the guitar no matter what eBay 'rules' state.

There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife

Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky

    Bit of trading feedback here.

Mint implies its untouched without marks, the SAS in question was noted as having marks from a guitar wall hanger therefore not mint.
