I was all set to contribute to this thread, until a meticulous trawl through my many pics, showed I don't have any that are remotely arty, or even particularly good.. Bugger!

I love the monoamine duo.

This is the nearest I have to "arty shots".
Place guitar next to window....with sunlight sneaking through onto dish top.
The guitar is an early 1953 Gibson Les Paul Trapeze Gold Top. The Conversion was done by Scott Lentz in the late 80s.

Post your arty pics in this thread. I'm going to unilaterally, dictatorially and completely unfairly, pic the "best" 12 pics posted, and create the 2017 theFB calendar using them.

I also have pics that we used for the 2016 Guitar Show screenshow on the stand, so there might be some surprise pics on the calendar from those ones.

It's called depth of field...... mine has a VERY narrow depth of field, only the knob is in focus entirely (ohh er) , it makes for a more interesting shot although I do like fully razor sharp pictures too.
