It's actually got a really deep personal connection to me and a real meaning.
If this is it, i will take the time to explain it but not yet. The subject matter is still highly confidential until,...........well just not yet that's all but this band name really does have proper meaning.

Fingers really crossed now.

I've thought that when sending a list of a dozen possibilities and we're still debating the name - we're still writing songs though so it's not quite urgent but it is frustrating.

I've thought that when sending a list of a dozen possibilities and we're still debating the name - we're still writing songs though so it's not quite urgent but it is frustrating.

I'm writing as much as i can but if we get a name nailed down and registered (As much as you can do), then it feels like the 'Thing' has an identity and i can't help thinking that will feed more positive energy into the song writing and the band in general.

Just my two cents, your name is far less important than your 'voice', I've stumbled over a billion names in the last 15 years, but I'm still working on finding my voice. In a more practical sense, start writing lyrics for what music you've got started, and somewhere in that process you'll find a name that says something.

that makes a large degree of sense.
The name above is so directly linked into all of this it ticks the boxes you mention. It's been a large part of the process already and won't stop soon.

When i can, i will explain it but i'm very happy with how this name has come about naturally and it's meaning is a deep as anything could be right now. Because the bandmates know all about what i'm trying not to mention, i think they'll go for it straight away but i can't speak for them.

Just have to wait for them to say yes or no and if it's "Yes" then for Lee to reply and do the web magician thing.

I haven't felt like this since i last used ebay, it's quite exciting.
