HNGD and hope you get lots of pleasure playing it. Have a 'proud new guitar. emoticon:  proudguitar  Bit too stripey for my taste, but I'm sure it plays superbly and sounds glorious.  :)
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

  • Congratulations! Figuring on that wood is amazing. I've never really played a twin humbucker tele. How are they compared to a Les Paul or Strat with similar pickups?

Cheers! It's like a light and 'zingy' Les Paul really - the mahogany back and neck help.

Not the usual Suhr headstock, is there a reason?

I believe that he offers either silhouette as an option on the custom order stuff never seen it with one overlayed on the other before though !

Love the guitar and think the headstock is better than the standard suhr one.  Not dissimilar to the Friedman guitars one.

    Cheers chaps  =)
I think he calls it the hybrid headstock - I like it, looks nicer than the standard Suhr design.

Yup, it was a custom order but based on a run they did a few years ago, but minus the reverse headstock. It first caught my eye when I saw Ian Thornley playing one at one of the Suhr factory parties.

  • Its called the Hybrid Step headstock. You can get a Hybrid, that's this shape but all on one level, but this was introduced to give the option of a more traditional silhouette whilst retaining the standard Suhr shape as the major element.

    I think they look great.

As to this one, its gorgeous. Very similar to the Collection 2014 Zebrawood Tele.
