I'm looking for a Sheraton and having one signed by the one and only Gary Gibson would be absolutely perfect.

Oh no, that's right. It would be shite. My mistake. Move along nothing to see here

Ok - so Gary Gibson is a relative/member of the original Gibson family? Never heard of him. Is he the Rhatt Smith of Gibson? LOL

According to the listing he is the number one John Lennon impersonator...

  • He's been selling that for about a year on northwest pages on Facebook.

Whoever he is he's got just about the most insincere grin I've ever seen.
Look at the eyes, they're the cold eyes of a heartless killer.

    I quite like that guitar.

Do you think that scribble would clean off?

Depends if it's been over sprayed, probably not.  Chances are a rub with thinners will remove it.  But you do have to consider how long it's been there as you sometimes see a less discoloured patch of wood underneath

Takes two photo's of the back of the neck.....both are fuzzy.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

I've seen better pics of it on the sellers Facebook page. It's actually in really good condition

Probably not worth taking a chance then. Shame that. I don't normally like Bigsby systems, always look a bit ugly to me when I see them on Teles and Les Pauls but it actually looks really good on that Epi. Oh well.

  • The blurb states "John Lennon Number one look a like of stars in there eyes fame".

    I think he's missed a comma, surely?

    "
John Lennon Number one look a like of stars in there, eyes fame". Not sure what "stars in there" is though, some sort of in-closet, out-of-closet celebrity transformation show, with doubles used instead of the real thing?

    Could've been worse.
Could've been Gary Glitter's signature on there.

If anything I'd say the signature devalues it - but you do get the Bigsby (assuming you like Bigsby's).  Re year, I've checked the serial number and it's made in the Samick factory in Korea - but according to the Epiphone data project it could be 1985, 1995, or 2005 which isn't wonderfully helpful.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

It wouldn't put me off too much, but I would ask if the sig had been oversprayed.  if there is discolouration underneath a rebuff if often enough to sort it out.
