Whats the deal on Squier vintage blonde Tele's?

The second one is just a really bad picture, it doesn't look like that in real life.

There are several different varieties of blonde, and variations even among ones of the 'same' colour.

The first picture doesn't look like blonde at all, it looks like vintage white or Olympic white. Blonde is semi-transparent and shows the wood grain through. The second one looks more like Butterscotch blonde, but it's hard to tell how accurate the pic is.

I had a Standard Squier Tele in the vintage blonde a few years ago. The colour in this pic on my monitor is pretty close to in real life - very much a banana pudding with a hint of green.
