A little while ago we had a "show your" thread about the Holy Trinity - Strat, Tele and LP. While other models (SG, 335, Jag etc) could also lay claim to a place in the trinity, as well as other manufacturers, these 3 guitars from the premium manufacturers of the day, are generally considered to be the 3 to have.
Well, times move on and my recent acquisition has completed my own "Modern Trilogy", from arguably the top 3 modern day manufacturers (though as in the trinity - there are arguments for others).
First up - My Red Hot Suhr Modern, complete with Floyd and high output pickups this is built for high octane rock and metal, and it does this superbly:

With a 5 way strat style switch, this gives the clarity and quack expected from a strat, though a little hotter and fatter due to mahogany body/neck and P90s. The neck PU gives some bite and aggression found on a Tele rather than a strat, and with an "add bridge"pull pot you also get the Tele middle position.

So - show me your own "Modern Trilogy" and what they cover for you. Absolutely NO Fender or Gibsons aloud. Modern (last 20 years) makes and models only.
