the spec change and diff between the 2008 and the 2012 Teles

necks got bigger and rounder on the 2012s....what else changed?

Finish is thinner and the colour more period correct. 

Possibly the pick-ups were changed as well - I can't quite remember.

As a 'Vintage Reissue' it's undoubtedly 'better' - as a guitar, I'm less sure. The previous version had a lovely, less 'Marmite' neck profile and they usually sounded excellent. 

If I were buying a used one as a working guitar, I'm pretty sure I'd go for the earlier one....

I have the 2008 Hommy and the neck is very slim Bro......not so sure about it anymore

I go from my 58 LP RI to the tele and it's quite a leap.....was wonderin' about a 2012 job....Hmmmm
