That is a 1960 reissue, not an actual 1960 LP and TBH the guys a fuckwit - it's not all original if you changed the pickups!

Also they are not rare in any way - 8K for one is madness:

I don't think he's claiming it to be a 1960! Equally I don't believe he paid £2600 for it.

Hopefully the price is a typo - £825 would be good value.
