Evening all!

So, Monday I went out shopping with the wife for her birthday and had a cheeky nose in our local music shop, to see if they had either an Ovation or a Dave Murray Strat (they had neither), but eye balled a guitar I wanted a few years back, but had since been discontinued when I finally had funds.  I laid eyes on it and mused over night and into Tuesday, then today I couldn't fight the urge any more:




A Graham Coxon signature Telecaster.  Now, I'm not what you'd call the biggest Blur fan, but the spec did it for me.  59 in the neck, bright spanky single coil in the bridge, chunky C profile neck and a rosewood board.  It sounds great, and plays sweetly too.  I might swap the saddles for brass, but other than that, she needs no changes!  Not bad for a first Tele, she sits proudly among her Strat brethren.

Nice. HNGD. I always fancied one of them. I'm not a massive Blur fan either but I like a lot of his solo efforts.

I dislike Blur immensely - well Damon Albarn - but Graham Coxon's a brilliant player - and that looks great.

Thanks gents  I am impressed with how resonant it is, much more than any other guitar I own, and they are pretty damned resonant
