Music Charities

Hi All


Slightly random question - I have a couple of guitars that I don't use so I was thinking of donating to a musical education charity. Trouble is I can't find one who'd take them. I could take them to a charity shop but I really want them to go into education of some sort.


Anybody know of any charities or programs that could use some instruments. Ideally in the Midlands or South Yorkshire as I don't have any means to pack them up so I'd need to drop them off...

Are they acoustics? (i.e. if electrics they really need to go to someone who has amplifiers, etc.)

Thanks - looking into that as well, the two local to me are sponsored by Roland (who'd have thought it) but there will be others to look into

Roland-sponsored schools eh? 

Does the person in charge carry the title of Headteacher, or does he/she have to be addressed as Boss?
