I finally understand... The 335 Tone Knob!!

Have a 2013 Les Paul Standard, 59 AVRI Stratocaster and just acquired an unreal Memphis 2015 335.

On the former guitars ive never really seen the point in the tone knobs, they didnt really alter the sound in a positive way, they just made sound muddy and unispiring.

But alas the 335 has changed my perspective completely. When the tone is at 10 both burstbucker 1 and 2 have great clarity and sparkle and when i adjust the tone i can get nice warm jazz and rhythm sounds with similiar volume levels.

My question is what magic did they stuff into the Memphis 335 tone pots or is it simply the pickups?
