FS - Gibson Les Paul BFG (sold)

Gibson Les Paul BFG - stripped back Les Paul, bridge humbucker has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SH6 Distortion pickup (don't have the original pickup) and I've added a truss rod cover, other than that it's stock. Comes with a standard Gibson LP hardcase, lined in white for some reason

Condition is pretty good, there is some buckle rash on the back but that is about it. Would prefer the buyer to try on collection (I'm in Glasgow) but if you want it posted I'm sure we can come to an understanding.

Always liked the look of these apart from the bare fretboard. Anybody else with me on that? 
Surely needs something - dots at least but Gibson trapezoids even better?

I kind of agree - I personally hate dots on LP, no rational reason it just looks wrong to be, but trapezoids would be nice.

Interestingly it makes no difference once your playing (there are still side dots) but it does make showing anyone a riff on it a nightmare!
