She's only 2, so definitely doesn't need this, but I'd been keeping an eye on eBay just in case... This popped up as new old stock, sold by a guitar shop, came boxed with paperwork, allen keys, film on the scratch plate etc.. was the same price as a secondhand one, but without all the dents :)

Great fun guitar, will give it a proper setup soon. She loves her pink 'tar' :D

It looks even better as part of the set :).

How's the fretting on this one? I've come across a couple with sharp/lifting fret ends, which is unusual for Squiers - bad enough to be a hazard for small fingers - although in the pic this one looks like it has quite nicely-finished ends and a slightly rolled fingerboard.

You just need the matching bass so you can play along with her when she's a bit older… ;)

I'll give it a proper check over when I do the setup, sort out any rough fret ends etc.. I had better do some reasearch on that bass :dissapointed:

  • It's cool, when my daughter was 3 years old  I would take a solidbody electric(unplugged) and sit at her bedside softly playing easy classical pieces to ease her to sleep, this would be perfect for that.  I used an old 60's Kent that happened to sound good for that.

Cool guitars. I had one.. Thinking of getting another..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
