This is based on the Hofner Prinz/Prince. Tele-shaped, but with two single coil pickups. I bought it s/h withou pickups and have installed a coil tapped SD Classic Stack in the bridge position and a neck pickup from an American Standard Stratocaster. So its Tele shaped but doesnt sound like one.

Has a great Ash body (quite heavy) with a maple C profile neck. Lovely gloss finish and body binding. A previous owned reshaped the end of the headstock as you can see in one of the photos. Not finished off, but also not a major problem. They also cut off part of the scratchplate by the bridge which leaves two screw holes visible. Scratchplate edges generally are a bit roughly finished. Finally the lower hole for the electronics plate was very close to the inside of the cavity, so i've bodged it with a bit of matchstick to allow the screw to grip; totally invisible of course.
