Anyone else discover the jazzmaster at a later stage!

so after years playing strats, teles, mustangs, jaguars, les pauls and les paul juniors, 335s, SGs, etc... I finally gave the jazzmaster a try.

I always liked the guitar, even tried one or two, but never put much time into them. Now all of a sudden I'm blown away by them! Every guitar has it's use and place, but I'm really enjoying the fullness of the sound, the slinkyness and overtones caused by the bridge design along with the full scale, the way the guitar weight is so well distributed.

Such a cool guitar.

I tried telemaster after years of LP and SG, and didn't really get on with it. Just felt like a big heavy tele. I'd like to try a proper jazzmaster though but I think a Jag is more suited to me -shorter scale and I think a smaller body.

A telemaster is not really the same animal. Jaguars are nice, I really liked my old johnny marr model. But overall I think the jazzmaster took it to a different level for me, when it comes to offsets and in fact other guitars as well.
