Is there a way of hiding a thread or indicating that it is dead?

You know in the classifieds when someone says "FS" or "WTB" and then they sell or buy and they're all sorted... but they don't change their thread title so you end up clicking the bloody thing again.
Well... is there any way where I as a viewer could hide their thread?  Or add a little flag or something to indicate that the thread is effectively done and dusted?

Yep.  But if it's a FS -- especially when there are multiple items -- you may want to click it again to see about price drops or developments.  Similarly with a WTB you might click it, then forget about it, and later think about selling something you've just remembered.  And the thing which always catches me out is that I may have clicked a thread back in the day then later I do a search e.g. "Ditto x4" and so the appearance of being read is no indication as to whether something has sold or has been bought.  If that makes sense?
