In case you weren't aware Friedman will be releasing 2 new signature amps at the NAMM show this week, and they happen to for 2 of the best 3 live tones i've ever heard in the flesh....Jerry Cantrell and Phil X!!!

Yes they will cost more than a used VW Golf over here, but still

That (^^^^^^^) sounds interesting.

Having said that, I've found my CAA is pretty much the king of that kind of tone.
Plus, I believe the SuperDrive 80 has a Friedman designed preamp and I wasn't fond of that amp at all.

In fact, for the amount of money they command over here, (aside from the fact I bought mine for £1299 brand new from GAK, whereas GG etc have them up for £2299!!!) they're pretty laughable IMO.
