I vastly prefer the tone of the Staytrem over the Mastery and with the nylon spacers it stays centred but allows a little tree action. I doubt you'd save much on a brand new one, think they're only £65 with £1 delivery and the trem upgrade is also well worth it if you haven't already...

I've used them before (staytrem bridges). I much prefer the sound of a Mastery as it goes, it's just the Mastery on my JM is a bit more temperamental than the one on my jag. As for the trem upgrade, again had one before and very much agree, but I have a Mastery OMV on my Jazzmaster that is genuinely stunning.
