Tele neck pickup suggestions?

What's Hot
My 2015 mim standard tele still has the stock pickups in it.
Now, i'm happy with the sound of the bridge pickup, but not so with the neck.
I usually tend to play with mild overdrive but if i switch from bridge to neck i find that the sound seems quite weak.
can anyone suggest a pickup change to give the neck sound a bit more "beef"?

Either Mojo or Oil City could make you something to suit - but I fear that it will lead to the purchase of a new bridge unit, as it will overshadow the standard MIM unit...

Fender Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickups are the nicest sounding Tele pickups I have tried.

So true. I have a 52 tele neck pickup with extra wire for splittage etc for sale if that's any use.

I've got two teles with SD quarter pounder sets in, the neck sounds nicer than I thought they would, and they're cheap on ebay.

Have a look on ebay and see if anyone has "Upgraded" the pickups from a Classic Vibe and are selling the stock ones. The Twisted Tele pickups are amazing.

I put a Strat neck pickup in one of mine (I bought a replacement scratchplate with the appropriate-sized hole).

The stock Classic Vibe Tele PU's are indeed good. I played one on Monday with a view to buying but I just didn't get on with the neck profile. Ended up with the Am Pro Tele - much more expensive but in all honesty does not sound any better than the Classic Vibe.
