They definitely did right not letting chappers and his endless pinch harmonics near that demo.

PS this was discussed a couple of weeks ago...

I wonder how well they've been selling.

I'd love one..but something tells me it'd cost a small fortune (for a 1w amp going by the last lot of regular 1w Marshalls out) and that I might not make it sound quite as good as JOBO. :))

I'm not a Bonowotsit fan, but that does sound awesome.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

Sounds fantastic! And it will cost all of the money ever made. You won't be able to get enough cash out of your HSBC bank account to buy it. Which is silly - if Marshall made these to the same sort of price point as the Class 5, they would sell them aaaaaall day long. I would buy one.

I'm sure they will all sell like hot cakes even at over a grand. Can't help but feel JoBo found the whole experience slightly embarrassing though

Not really a JoBo fan, but that amp sounds epic.

I don't mind JB and yes, you can certainly hear the Eric Johnson runs in there.
The amp sounds really good and just seen on the Anderton's site that it's going to cost £599.

  • Exactly, price is well known for some time already so no idea where did you get all that "over a grand" price from.

That actually looks and sounds really cool.

For some reason hadn't expected the amount of detail in the design and thought it would just be cosmetic, but it looks to be a really nice amp and they should sell them pretty quickly at that price.

I dont think even he can lay claim to something so "old"

    ;)
just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.

If you get the matching cab it's another £599.

  • Wait, it's £1200 for a 1 watt amp and cab?! Bargain. Lolololoolol. I wouldn't mind knowing if Marshall has at least hand wired the whole thing with massive components and a turret board, but I somehow doubt it - I'd guess it's still a pcb amp at heart. Nothing wrong with that, mind, but I would love to know what that cash could get me from another hand wired boutiquey thing from Jpf or mjw. It just seems expensive for what it is, even considering target market. Maybe if it was a couple of hundred cheaper all in, it would be a nice, albeit expensive, oddity but for that money, it seems daft.

over a grand if you want to hear it rather than look at it

Joe: "Sounds good."  Is that all? Just good.  I thought it sounded awesome.

And did Joe's tutor never tell him not to noodle when he was teaching him?!  While Lee Anderton was telling the story of how it all came together, there were a few times Joe would be pratting around like a teenage player and simply not listening.
