New Gibson JoBo Sig Model...

Well, it wouldn't be a NAMM for Gibson without one. 



Well, Musicradar have said it is a Johnny A/JoBo signature model, but I imagine it will be a Johnny A model in the end. 

I have to say it's the most GAS for a Gibson I have ever had.  It's the semi hollow Johnny A Standard with a Spruce top and no F Holes, near enough the perfect guitar on spec.   I imagine it's going to be crazy pricy like the other Johnny A models though

THIS is the thing I was describing in the other thread. I'll be amazed if it's a JoBo as the knobs all match. If you're right that it's a semi-hollow without f-holes that just makes it perfect. Blacktop finish and no guard please!

Pic here does call it a Johnny A / Joe Bonamassa Spruce Top. 

Apparently based on one of JoBo's old doublenecks made into a singleneck version, presumably for Mr A. I LOVE it.

And google tells me #25 in this slideshow is the original twin neck version

From that thread (presumably Mr A himself):

"It's My "Signature" Model with a spruce top and no "F" holes. Joe called me and asked me if we could alter my model with afore-mentioned changes to try to come close to reproducing the tone of his 1958 Gibson Spruce top double neck. It's constructually the same as the "Johnny A." standard with these exceptions: Spruce top, no F holes, parallelogram inlays."

Googled him, still none the wiser. Seems he's played with a few people I've heard of.

Tbh I only know of him because he has a nice signature Gibson!

That is a thing of beauty. Looks like a 335 trying to morph into a Revstar or viceversa. If the price is not silly it is certainly going on my shortlist for this year's guitar purchase, even if at this point a junior is still no 1.

I fear it will be stupidly priced, here is the Standard Model which the new Spruce top is based on

Kiefer Sutherland? Hugely famous, just not as a guitarist. Though you could probably also argue Dave Grissom.

It's a Goldtop CS-336, I think they called it the KS-336
