Picked this up the other day....

Thought I'd give em a go.. Seeing as these current runs are now discontinued and one came up at £299 through Andertons, so with a bit of a trade in it only cost me £50.

Needs a damn good clean and set up though. The filth on this thing was unreal.

Its one of the later Korean Chapman ml-2's.

Yeah considering, it was a hell of an upgrade for £50 outlay. 

I traded an Ltd esp, and sold a few bits in CEX prior, but it was a basic model, basswood body, bolt on rosewood board etc. 

The Chapman has grovers, tone pro bridge, ebony board, set neck into a mahogany body, tusq nut etc.. better spec'd as standard really. 

See how I fair with it!

Not my style at all but I genuinely think that finish is one of the nicest looking guitars produced at that price.

It was disappointing to me too! You'd think they would, and especially it being one of their own guitars (a Chapman). 

Lots of fingerboard crud, the strings were beyond gone, heavily laden with shite too.. eww.

I like it generally but the string through doesn't really suit that bridge.

I feel ya! The new models have a tailpiece, which I do think improves the look somewhat.
