Three pickups?

Wasn't this the guy who famously used to take the neck pickups out of his guitars as he didn't use them and the string pull got in the way of the sound... or am I getting him confused with someone else?

However, I would love an SG with 3 P90s, along with one with 2 P90s, and a Junior, oh and one with some Gold Foils

Phil X is slightly crazy, which I find kinda endearing, good player too, however EytschPi42 is... !

It's hideous.  The Yamaha SGs he used to use were pretty cool though.

Gotta love EytschPi too though - Phil X is a kind of charicature of an American rocker, while Henning does the same for the Germans in his own inimitable fashion.

@sgosden Phil X does guitar reviews for Fretted Americana, has a band called the Drills, played in Powder with his wife doing vox I believe, plays (is wasted on) Bon Jovi

Would have preferred it with two pickups and traditional knob layout like a Gibson. Love the colour though!
