PCB Quality

I've been looking at building myself some kind of variant on a Tube Screamer, although it might end up closer to a Fulldrive with no boost.

There are a lot of PCBs available at varying prices.

Among others, you have PedalParts in the UK, Musikding in Germany, or Madbean and General Guitar Gadgets in the US at varying prices.

PedalParts are a fiver, the Musikding one is €6.  The American ones are $12 or $14.  Does anyone know if there is any difference in quality with the more expensive US ones or are they all much of a muchness?

probably all standard 2 layer Rogers/FR4 material from far east.

I had myself a pedal parts kit though an can vouch for the quality and customer service(just make sure your paypal/paypal adresses are all in order before ordering)

If only I hadn't cocked the build up and melted the pads of the PCB

I've got 2 pedal parts atm - good quality - much like the tonepad pcbs.
Also got a few Madbean pads and they're good too.
I've got some API klon PCBs and they're much like the quality of the tonepads too.

The only issue with PCBs is if you mod or make mistakes regularly - if not then they're all great

Pedalparts are top quality and in my experience delivery was super fast.
