I have had a Helix for a few weeks and finding it's amps much better sound that the PODs of old. The name Helix suggests some kind of DNA connotation so how is modern amp modelling done in the Helix and AxeFX? I have read that the components of an amp are 'modelled' in software, is that right? how the hell do you do that? It's pretty damn clever isn't it?

Just think, this is all 0s and 1s:

(check out the JCM800 model he switches to at 1m 50s, it has a real pushed power tubes sound to it)
