Free guitar, acoustic or electric?

I'm currently doing a raffle giveaway for a free acoustic or electric guitar. What do you think people will prefer?

Depends on the guitars.

Brand/model etc...

Acoustics make a better prize because you don't need much else to make them work. Someone who aspires to play guitar, for example, may win and if they win an electric then they need to get an amp, leads, etc.

What's the target audience? Are they likely to have amps etc, or is the guitar likely to be won by a non-player who needs to learn? Electric for the former, acoustic for the latter.
