What's Hot
SeshSesh Frets: 1917
Actually, it was about a week ago, but it has taken me this long to take some pictures.

It's a G&L Tribute Fallout, in sonic blue:

I've wanted one of these for ages, as it ticks a lot of boxes for me.

So far, I'm very pleased. I've not had a P90 before and it's really usable. The guitar is very light but acoustically it still sounds good. Plugged in I'm getting a wide variety of voices, with the coil split on the HB adding to it.

Ok, it's not perfect. It looks like someone forgot to finish off the nut. It's cut pretty well but the strings sit in 1mm deep grooves. Something for me to easily sort out later. There's the slightest of wobbles on the pick guard and a tiny, unseeable but feelable blemish on the neck, luckily it won't be in the way.

Out of the box, all I've done is tune it. The action is pretty much there and it's great fun to play. So far, so good.

It's a standard fender length: 25.5". There's not many around in the UK at the moment, so I ended up buying blind off the internet.

I can't think of any stores near me that stock G&L. I'd have probably bought one of these blind too but I need a trem on a guitar.

Congrats - looks very nice.  But take off that silly sticker between the p/ups...neither cool nor classy!

Steady - it might ruin the tone taking that sticker off!!

Looks tasty.  Reminds me a little of the Ibanez Talman for some reason.

Cool idea for a guitar - P90, hum bucker and single coil all on the one instrument. Always fancied one but never seen one in the flesh. A review would be great.

Cool!  I've actually started to look at getting some kind of Tele style guitar with a  humbucker in the bridge spot.

Indeed. I wanted the maple necked one too. The colour changes quite a lot with the light. Sometimes it looks green. Either way I like it, and the wife approved too. I do wonder how it would look with a tort guard...

    Oooohhh nice!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.
