Has anyone got a Les Paul jack plate kicking about?

I sold my LPJ recently and have had nothing but grief from the buyer.  It turns out that the jack plate had been changed to one that doesn't fit and I had never noticed (I plug it in and play - I don't look at the detail). Anyway I have offered to source him one that fits. Wondered if anyone has one in their parts bin...

I have no idea how these work, but I'm guessing that I just need the plate and can unscrew the the actual input and scew it back onto a new plate (ie without the need for soldering)??



Happy to pay (postage and packaging, whatever).

Yep - it's an easy job to replace an you can use the screws from machine heads too.
There are plenty on ebay - nothing too expensive..

I might have an old one off a 70's les paul upstairs but i cant guarantee itl fit the exact screwholes? Shall i have a look?

Don't worry Stu - I think I'll just get a Gotoh one from ebay - £5.50. Thanks anyway mate.

Thanks Jonathan. I won't be able to get to you soon enough so have just ordered one on fleabay. Cheers anyway.  Will hopefully be able to get up to Croydon next Saturday to drop the Charvel off with you.
