Looking for a pedal board / hard case to fit a Zoom G3X + maybe one or two more pedals

I don't want monster size ... maybe just a simple tuner alongside the Zoom ... at the moment I cart it around wrapped in a bath towel and want to be able to offer it more protection both in transit and in use.

Ideally from Thomann as I have a voucher.

But I don't know where to begin.

  • I use one of them Diago boards for my bass rig. Zoom B3 plus a few stompers and a power supply. I forget the name of the board but it's the smaller one of the three they do.

  • B and q do the tool/ camera style cases. I use one for my acoustic board.

    I had a Kinsman once.
It did the job and was fairly cheap.

And when I say I don't know where to begin - I mean literally ... I have never used a pedal board so don't know how much space to allow for the connecting patch leads etc ...

And with a mutli-fx would you leave it in situ, with velcro fastening, like you would with separate pedals?

I just velcroed mine on to my board when I had a G3 on there. You need to use angle jacks and leave a bit of space for jacks if the sockets don't clear the lip (which is an advantage of the pedaltrain type boards) If you buy the really cheap boards the velvet material they put in tends to rip but you can glue in a cheap supermarket floormat.

Actually there is a Pedaltrain 2 in the classifieds, just buy that.

You're a good man mon ... I like the looks of that ... just wondering, isn't that going to be too big?

I want to keep it small and neat as far as possible.

It's probably a bit big, but that's just an excuse to buy more pedals.

Hey, don't feed my GAS ... the only other pedal I have but don't use is a LPB-1 clone.

Oh yeah, and one other that is a working pedal but that is a signed gift from a musician so I keep that safely tucked away.

The Zoom does all I need and I can't see myself becoming a pedal-head.

    Any smaller suggestions please?
