Things to do in Oxford in July?

Next to the Natural History museum is the Pitt Rivers museum which is meant to be fantastic. Despite having lectures in the NHM and living in Oxford for another 4years after I've never been.

Big +1 on the Trout, and also the Perch, which is at the other end of Port Meadow. And +1 on  the P&R. Depending on where you're coming from it may even be easier to get the bus or train. Either way, Oxford's public transport is actually fantastic.

I live near Oxford and all I could recommend about it is to go on a pub crawl and sample some of the fooderies! Barring that look for a gig.

Just a good look round the shops, the uni and the very cool indoor market will put at least a day in
