I'm going to order up some pickups for a project maybe next week, of all the touch choices... :D

Black or cream P90? :)

This pic was before the finish started to go on, so it's a touch darker now

    Black, no doubt.

    AWESOME looking guitar Dave !

    Is that a Kahler bridge?

EDIT: Didn't know i could zoom in.
It's not a Kahler but what is it? Looks great with the offset saddles but are they rollers?

so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Black P90 certainly looks the part, but im going to suggest that the zebra hb looks less the part. I think all black pickups would suit much better...

I must be strange, I prefer the cream. They age nicely too.
Not wild about the zebra pickup.

I think it's going to be black hb too, damn it, one day I'll have a guitar that suits / needs zebras! :)

Paint half of the cream P90 cover black!

Black I think, fits better with the surround and black coil on the bucker. But id prefer either all black HB + P90 or both in cream, would sit in the lighter wood colour nice.

I'd lose the go faster stripes on the guitar - it makes it look like a boy racer.  Then I'd have all cream p/ups to go nicely with the natural wood.  If you keep the stripes, then all cream p/ups & I'd lose the Zebra.  If you keep the stripes & the zebra, then black because the cream doesn't match the white section of the zebra and just too many colours.
I started out with nothing..... but I've still got most of it left (Seasick Steve)

Make sure you set the saddles reasonably high, even if you have to shim the neck slightly to do it.

its a great bridge, but works loads better with them set high
