So there's loads of great gear review channels out there, however, I'm struggling to find a decent channel(s) that bases their gear reviews by playing more straight up rock stuff (Foos, PJ, QOTSA etc) TPS is great, but anything that's not blues seems to flummox them so they don't play the gear how I would want to hear it demoed....on the flip side there seems to be a plethora of Metal dudes that chug away until their hearts are content....again not playing in the context I want to hear gear reviewed in to see if it's up my alley.
Am I missing anything glaring....decent production/sound quality a must...I mean what's the point otherwise.

anderson's at least try different things, I never much cared for Rob's playing, Lee has improved a lot and Pete's a great player.
But I would like some indie, shoegaze, etc, I think JHS covers some of that

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.
I'd forgotten about Andy Demos, yes he's pretty good at covering all genres.
Pete Thorn and Ola are the best channels because they show you that if you stop worrying about gear and put the practice in you can make everything sound great.
Living Room Gear Demos
The Pedal Bored
My new favourite channel is Zach Wish. He gets awesome tones and always plays good riffs, lots of grungy stuff in there too. He's only a small channel at the minute but it's exactly what you're after I think.

Absolutely, always where I look first for gear reviews/demos. It's a double-edged sword, though, because with the right song/his playing ability, he can get a great sound out of pretty much any pedal, so you always run the risk of buying something that you can't get a great sound out of because... well, I'm not Andy.
Been trying to nail White Limo all day due to that.
He's good innit.
