Where there is any thought process at all, it is simplistic. e.g. If a song runs for three minutes, it took three minutes to compose it. If a stage play runs for two hours, it took two hours to write it and the same time for the cast to learn their lines.
This is the flip side of the entertainment business attempting to make stage productions appear to be something of magic and wonder.
The general public is so shallow that some of them even believe that award ceremonies are meaningful events rather than blatant self-promotional advertising.
Act out a scene???? what the hell does that mean????
and surely 'play your instrument' is exactly what every musician on the planet does?
Oh yes, and I won a bet to get 14 question marks in a reply ....
My thoughts were because the words “Play” and “Act” are the nub of what the entertainment business do, these words can be interpreted by a callous Government as no more than childish pursuits and hobbies, not worth their support.
