Getting that ‘plummy’ son of a preacher man tone

I’ve been asked to do this for a wedding and I’m trying to work out how to dial it in. Guitar gate has a lovely version for cover guitar.

But how do I get the tone. I’m thinking strat, compressor, lightspeed and hrdlx.

But I’m not really sure about compressor settings what makes that ‘bell tone’

It depends how fussy you are? I've played this in a band in the past and it was just neck pickup on a Strat into a HRD with a bit of light reverb.

I checked out the version by Guitar gate and it's very nice. The neck pickup on his PRS sounds good as well.
