This feels like a good way to go forward. Honour the guy with a couple of massive shows full of his mates, and give the band a chance to feel out playing without him free of the pressure to announce a tour.

But Dave's gonna have to sing Everlong - I'm guessing that's going to be really hard.

As for lineup, I'm going to guess the remaining Foos will be onstage all night, rotating through a bunch of drummers and singers (to allow DG to get on the kit a little). I'm assuming Chad Smith, Matt Cameron*, Roger Taylor, Paul McCartney, Alanis, Perry Farrell, maybe even a Zep or two one last time..?

*OMG Matt Cameron could join the Foos and that would be amazing...

Interesting that it's in the UK.  Or are there going to be a series of shows in different countries?

Seems like the right thing to do, and enough time passed to get through a show, although I'm sure it'll be a struggle.

Will try and get tix for sure.

I can only imagine the shitshow that will be the fight for tickets from Ticketmaster. Of which I will be very much part of the problem!

For a huge Queen fan, a tribute at Wembley is a fitting idea indeed.

Will they get Percy to mess up Innuendo again, for full authenticity?

Yeah I think its cos the Wembley gig that they did 2008 was a huge deal for them and getting Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones to play.. Dave says as much in that documentary Back and Forth...

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

There's been a lot of talk about it recently, but it doesn't seem like there are any concrete plans.  I guess ultimately it'll mainly be Alex's decision.

Ticket sites now saying there will be presale for previous show ticket holders.
No idea how that will work but as a previous owner of 4 tickets to Villa Park it might give me a tiny slight chance.

I got two in the gods - literally 3 rows from the roof, but a pretty good view.  I kept trying for better seats but in the time I selected and tried to add them they'd gone.  General sale is tomorrow @ 0900 for those that are interested

dare I ask how much each ticket was?

Can't work out what the past bookers code means....is that if you had a ticket for a foo's show that was cancelled? I've previously booked Foo's shows but the last one was a few years ago, so guessing I don't qualify.

If on the sneaky chance anyone does have a code that won't be using it, please PM me :)

Standard tickets were £93 I think, but cheaper tickets around £75 were available.
