  • i'll get you a mini-mat!

i'm looking to get a single channel GT120 with KT88's with some kind of attenuator...OR...twin channel with KT88's...

  • Sound pretty funky! I want single channel, British racing green tolex and logo. 4 knobs only volume bass mid and treble. Then effects loop and 6 speaker outs. 2 4 ohm 2 8ohm and 16 ohm. Maybe 120 watts

  • i hadn't thought too deeply about colours...I think though, I would get white rolex and black and white logo, white knobs and gold handles and corners.

No effects loop...thats for pussies!  ;)

On the single channel, I would have same 7 knobs, 4 like yours, plus 1 for Voice/FAC, 1 for Gain and 1 for attenuation/MV...on 2 channel version, I would additional 2 knobs for the second channel gain and volume and the Voice and Attenuator knobs would be global setting.

But i'm with you on the speaker out options.

    Missed this - sorry!

    Prices inc vat and delivery:

    Minimat MiniPro £429
    GT40 £1099
    GT1 £1249
    1224 MKII £1399
    GT200 £1699

Collected prices a bit less on big amps, usually knock off £60. But you don't get packing boxes. We hate couriers and cardboard so you get a cheaper amp.

Cabs loaded with Celestions (not the heritage or alnico or neo range) from:

    112 £299
    212 £429
    412 £649

Discounts for factory collection, especially on big cabs, £569 for a 412 and £359 for a 212. Extra for angle cabs.

@Van_Hayden £359 collected for a 2x12. Hmmmmmmm. What are the dimensions for a horizontal 2x12? I don't see them looking at the site via my mobile. I also see a 3 piece back picture - I'd definitely want closed back.

I'm assuming these are proper heavy duty, won't rattle, kind of cabs? I'm looking at picking up another 8 ohm V30 2x12 in the near future, didn't realise you guys were so close and so cheap!

  • I'll get my ruler out tomorrow!

I might be able to swing mates rates for mods....

  • just for mods??? oh man, what a jib!   ;)

i am planning a trip to the factory next year...still have to formulate what i exactly want...single channel or dual channel...the more i think about it, its gong to be a simple single channel with a voice knob and attenuator...no effects loop.

  • They're solid - come and have a look! We've started using Italian poplar ply with birch face, rather than marine birch. It's about 90% as strong but 40% of the weight. And you can lift them, Jeff uses internal bracing for strength. Come and have a look!

  • If I don't get sacked from from my job I'll pop up with Sam in March, I think it was 2004 or 5 when I went to the factory to order my head.

  • Dave John and Jeff then. I was only in Thursdays to test amps back then!
0reaction image LOL 0reaction image Wow! 0reaction image Wisdom
  • Aye Mr Green built it and then later had to rebuild it, adding in the things he forgot to put in the first time like the grounding plate............ Etc etc but that is another story.

Is John the guy that looks like he is in zz top and drives a massive old van? I remember chatting to Dave, Jeff and (I think John) and also the German guy.
