Empirical Labs Arouser (Distressor Plugin) - is $129 until 4 Feb - is that a good price or do they do better sales later in the year?

It is an excellent plugin but it isn't a Distressor.
It is sort of like a Distressor but IMHO the hardware has more prominent harmonics.

Absolutely worth it though.

I trialled it and don’t like it at all. Just sounds harsh and fizzy. Maybe it is a perfect capture of the mythical real thing, it doesn’t sound very mythical to me.
