Marshall JCM 800 100watt modded by Dan Gower.
This is Dan’s take on the John Suhr SE/ Aldrich mod. Man he knows his stuff and this thing absolutely rocks! In great condition The nice thing about this one is only a depth knob on the back indicates that it’s been tinkered with. (Apart from the GOWER badge on the front lol!) £1400 pickup based in Hampshire. Or equally happy to post at cost. Also happy to meet up somewhere within reason.
Doug Aldrich tone in a very loud and very special monstrous sounding box! Makes a stock JCM800 sound like a fluffy pussycat in comparison! Lol!

Im already having second thoughts!
Trade wise I’d be particularly looking for the following:
Boss waza TAE.
PRS S1 Mira (not brown)
PRS Singlecut (core not S1)
but try me you never know!

Do you have any videos of it. I can’t find anything online for that particular mod. Only his usual standard mods.
I commissioned this build as the SE is my fav marshall mod but asked Dan to make the following improvements vs the CAE pre/ CAA SE+ that I’ve owned, per his own taste and judgement:
-Make bass more user-friendly. the OG has so much that it’s pumping
-Make the amp feel nicer under the fingers
-Retain some of the core Marshall character
Dan of course delivered and it is a phenomenal amp.
Closest you could listen to online are the CAA OD100SE+ and the Suhr SE100, albeit it this one has Dan’s twist and follows that brief above
