Our bt infinity is useless, keeps dropping out every 30 secs or so. I was wondering if it might be because so many people are off work and using it at the same time? Thinking of swapping to virgin

Mine disappeared entirely, but that probably has something to do with the fact that I moved house over Christmas. :D

Yeah.  BT has been rubbish.  Saddos ONLINE GAMING and god damn families Skyping, takes up the most bandwidth.

The selfish bastards, leaves the rest of us unavailable to stream online porn.

23rd was the busiest, but they are probably all in Syria by now.

    Glad it's not just me.

I was on Virgin, but they transferred me to Talk Talk a couple of weeks ago - without consultation or approval, and not a company I would have chosen - at short notice because they allegedly aren't continuing with ADSL broadband, and my town does not have fibre optic yet. It's been patchy the last couple of hours but I assumed that was just the new 'service' from Talk Talk.

I had been thinking it may be worth transferring to someone else that I actually have some choice in. ie BT, or BT, since that's about all I can get here :( - but maybe it's not actually Talk Talk's fault...

Talktalk seems to go to shit every now and then - last did it during the World Cup (connection would drop out around 8.30 every night, and be very flimsy for the rest of the night). Started doing it again just before Xmas.

Virgin Fibre Optic here in Bedford is fine but we have the 150mbps high speed connection.

We were with sky but they are awful to deal with and couldn't take a DD correctly and then would charge us for their mistake so after 6 months of constant cock ups we told them to do one and got Virgin - it's been faultless ever since.

Not noticed any problems at all over Christmas.

BT infinity - and having the same problems  , used to be brilliant, great speed and very reliable but the last 6 months it's been sooooo unstable and their customer service is crap so will be changing  companies in the new year when the contract is up .
