After having a redundancy kick me in the gut late last year, i'm finally looking at getting one again.

I'm just stuck on colours, either a white with white scratch plate or black w/ black scratch plate both with a maple neck.

Has anyone got any photos of a black esquire with a black pick guard? I can't decide!!

I have and i found no black esquires with black scratch plates bar one custom one.

Who knew?

I'd think it'd pretty much look like a black guitar body, with a black pickguard though.......

black on black. Looks like an absolute beast.

the fender classic esquires are absolute hulks of tone beasts. I'd have mine back - lord knows why I sold it.

@robdynamite - I bought it off a fella who pieced it together.

Japanese body, Mighty Mite satin neck, BKP Piledriver pickup, all quality USA hardware/pots/electrics etc.

Plays very nicely, tamed my GAS big time
