How is the flip-flop set up on the QM4? do tell.

All four loops are set to flip flop.

The Swirl feeds the QM input and the delay comes off the output so each can be applied to any of the below sounds.

Loop 1 is Sick As on its own, this is my light gain sound.

Loop 2 is the LGW and Unimos in the same loop, and I can (pre)set for either or both to be on for various amounts of mid or high gain.

Loop 3 is the Hamstead Trem, I leave the independent clean boost on all the time for gain make up on the core amp clean - so switching this on is essentially my clean channel, and I can then kick the right hand footswitch on the Hamstead for some Trem when loop 3 is selected.

Loop 4 mutes and sends the signal to the tuner.

Do you gig with this @Wazmeister? I'd find it quite hard getting my toe in between some of those foot switches. It's begging for a looper/switcher to go on there

Get the extension pedal
That way you can try and wire it all underneath the board for maximum inconvenience

My problem I have with the G2 is the size really and the fact I probably wouldn't use half of its features

That's why I went for simplicity and ease of use with my disaster area switchers/looper

This is where I is at...

I might wire up this Salvage Custom board, with the G2 update... Then see how it all compares to the FX8. If there is no joy or unreal hassle, it will all go... And the FX8 will be kept !
