Most amateur relic jobs leave me feeling nauseous, but that is very convincing. It helps that you started off with a thin nitro coat of course. Less is more.

Is to get someone in the know to do it for you!

I couldn't trust myself with the neck and body. I've done the pickguard and will sort the hardware out as they're easy to replace!!

I'm not usually a fan of relic jobs, but I'd LOVE to own that guitar. The quality of the relicing is simply outstanding...very, very authentic looking.
