P9O mounting?

How do these mount to a guitar? and can you adjust their height? I see a lot of production guitars with p90's and cant see how they mount or adjust.

    They often screw directly into the wood with foam underneath to help adjust the height.

  • Reverend used to use brackets to mount them to a pickguard, just a strip of metal acting as a cradle IIRC, with screw holes on each end.
    Some folks like water, some folks like wine.

    On Gibson SGs with the big batwing scratchplates, they mount the soapbar P-90s on upside-down dogear baseplates, then put threads on the feet so they can be height-adjusted at each end, like humbuckers (picture below).

    On SGs with small scratchplates the soapbars are just screwed directly to the body.
