P9O mounting?

How do these mount to a guitar? and can you adjust their height? I see a lot of production guitars with p90's and cant see how they mount or adjust.

They often screw directly into the wood with foam underneath to help adjust the height.

Or with dogears you need spacers/risers which is more of a fiddle.

Reverend used to use brackets to mount them to a pickguard, just a strip of metal acting as a cradle IIRC, with screw holes on each end.

On Gibson SGs with the big batwing scratchplates, they mount the soapbar P-90s on upside-down dogear baseplates, then put threads on the feet so they can be height-adjusted at each end, like humbuckers (picture below).

On SGs with small scratchplates the soapbars are just screwed directly to the body.
