Yes, I´d love to come to UK during 2019! Like @Dustym2566 said there before, he's the man working with me on that.
My 2018 has been very busy and already I had shows in Helsinki, Berlin, Gothenburg, Mannheim and Burgdorf (CH).
Another problem is that I don't have barely any guitars in stock at the moment, so there's not so much to show 3
I must prepare my self better next year!!

Any good suggestions for best guitar shows in UK?

I'd love to hear about your local wood choices - presumably you have access to Finnish woods that others luthiers don't. How do those compare to more familiar choices?

Thanks for asking again! This is one of my favorite subjects of all times. Yes, I have access and sources for Finnish pine, maple, alder and birch.
Mostly I can even name the villages where the logs come from.
Specially Finnish and Karelian Pine are kind of a trademarks for my collection. Must say that’s my favorite tonewood. It has straight grains, reasonable weight, awesome looks with many variation (wide grain, tight grain, knots, clean..etc.)
Guess you already knew that the white prototype of Telecaster was pine too ;)

Karelian Pine is also called as a deadwood pine.
that means that the tree has died still standing up for +200 years. So those are over 500y old trees!! Those logs has super tight grains like violin tops. One company build luxory houses from those logs and I get the leftovers

Here’s few example of Deadwood Pine.

As someone who spends a fair amount of time every year in Finland (it's pretty much my second home) and as another trade contributor to Fretborard, may I say olet tervetullut tänne!
And can I say I'm a huge fan of  Karelian Pine myself :-)

@VuorensakuGtrs and @Dustym2566 ; the largest U.K.  show is probably the Birmingham one in February although there isn’t one huge U.K. show anymore. @jason is the person who runs it.

Thanks for info @Jason! I'll keep this on my mind for sure! And as you noticed I make basses too, like for Sami Yaffa.

And thanks for warm welcome @TheGuitarWeasel From my end You are very welcome to visit my workshop in Jyväskylä next time you come to Finland 1

@drpbier I'd love to see that too!! Pete and Anderton's are very well know here in Finland too. If you have any access or contacts to those guys please make the move. I'm totally open for ideas.

Ps: There's actually one of my T.Family guitars in London. The owner is Timo Kaltio. Finnish origin guitar player for Peckham Cowboys and Anita Chellamah and many more. He's a living legend and the general ambassador for me in UK.

I usually stay in Tampere ... so not too far away from Jyväskylä I shall certainly take you up on that offer. I have lots of customers in Finland ... mostly in the hardcore metal and punk scene ... and I always am pleased by how vibrant the Finnish live music scene is.
