Non hardwired on/off switch for me router table

What's Hot
Chaps, I'm probably being thick, but Google is giving me nowt of use.

Does there exist an on/off switch that I can attach to me 'shady homebrew' router table, that I can plug my router into, and plug the other end into a socket?

If such a thing exists, where can I find it?

Obliged.

I use a trend no volt release switch - although I use it on my buffing machine

    http://www.trenddirectuk.com/nvrs-2-240v.html

It will only allow the power to be on if there is voltage there
in the event of a power out it will switch the switch off and not let the power back through without a deliberate manual restart.
    Seriously sensible safety feature

I've got an extension lead with an inline RCD that does a similar thing.

Aye I'd considered that, but I'd end up being at a gig with mine still attached to me table.........  ;)

There are cheaper thing on ebay.  I know what you mean, you don't want to hardwire your router so you can remove it with the base for other overhead jobs and you really need a kill button (NVR Switch) (No Volt Release I guess it stands for) in case a mahogany splinter penetrates your forehead whilst routing.  Just get something rated for the router's power.  Do a search for a NVR Switch and run it to a socket, both mounted on the side of your table.

Just get a 12mm bit of ply and mount a triangle between you support beam and joist at the corner, rout an insert for it and screw it down.  Cover the back with a screwed on deep household socket backbox with a drilled knockout and use a compression gland for the knockout to fix the cable.  Earth everything.  Does seem a tad small although will do the job.

Found this one too, although no knee button.

    but this one does.
